🐧 Configuration Guide
We support both HTTP and HTTPS, though we recommend HTTPS for security.
For Ubuntu Users
You need to edit your /etc/apt/sources.list file. You can do this manually, or run the command below to automatically back up your old config and switch to ICN.
Option 1: The One-Liner (Terminal)
sudo cp /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list.bak && \
sudo sed -i 's|http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/|https://mirror.icn.com.bd/ubuntu/|g' /etc/apt/sources.list && \
sudo sed -i 's|http://bd.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/|https://mirror.icn.com.bd/ubuntu/|g' /etc/apt/sources.listOption 2: Manual Edit
Replace the URL in your sources list with:
https://mirror.icn.com.bd/ubuntu/
After changing, run: sudo apt update
For Arch Linux Users
Arch users know the drill. You need to add our server to the top of your mirrorlist.
1. Open your mirrorlist:
sudo nano /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist2. Add the following line at the very top of the file (before any other server):
Server = https://mirror.icn.com.bd/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch3. Force a database refresh:
sudo pacman -SyyNote: These mirrors are maintained by the ICN Engineering Team. If you notice any synchronization issues, please email support@icn.com.bd.
